INFRARED CHEMLIGHTS

Lightstick is a unique light source that does not need batteries or fire. It is very light and efficient. Chemical lights can be used to mark the position during a night hike, to illuminate the nearest surroundings, as an alarm signal or as an emergency light source. To start the process of lighting, bend the baton with the thumbs of both hands until the inner vial breaks and then shake it. This is a combination of chemicals which, using Luminescence Phenomenon, produce light of a specific color. This phenomenon is unique in that no heat is generated during the whole process. The luminescence process in chemical lights can be slowed down by placing a lightstick in the freezer. This way the light should shine even two nights.
